As a department of the undergraduate College of Letters and Sciences, the UW-Madison History Department attracts over 600 undergraduate majors each year and serves countless additional students drawn to history to meet other requirements of the College.  As a member of the Graduate School, the History Department enrolls roughly 30 students annually.  For all of its students, the History Department is committed to providing an exciting and diverse intellectual community—and a connection to last a lifetime.
