To commemorate the 50th anniversary of William Appleman William's famed treatise, "The Tragedy of American Diplomacy," the distinguished diplomatic historian Andrew J. Bacevich of Boston University will  lecture at the Wisconsin Book Festival on "The Enduring Relevance of the Wisconsin School: What William A. Williams Got Right and Where He Went Wrong."  His talk will be followed by commentary from Paul Buhle of Brown University and Alfred W. McCoy of the University of Wisconsin.
